Millions of numbers, thousands of stats, hundreds of players. Zero context.

Numbers aren’t everything.
Stats are the “behind-the-scenes” picture of what is happening on the court. They are just as alive as the players they represent. They tell the story of basketball both on and off the court, as well as before, during, and after the game. But without context, it is up to the consumer to fill in the blanks.

The proposed NBA.com/stats reimagined the way casual and experienced fans interact and consumed all the data created from an NBA game. The design paired these numbers with easy to understand infographics, live game feeds, courtside imagery, social media trends and light editorial content to provide just the right context. This never before seen experience told the unique story of stats in an interesting, engaging, and digestible way.
